John Hammill
Managing Partner
Mr. Hammill is Managing Partner of Capview Partners, responsible for developing unique investment products and strategies. He has over 20 years’ experience in real estate and private equity offerings.
Mr. Hammill formed Capview Partners in 2010 to provide investors with access to income-producing asset-based investments. Capview Partners offers 1031 exchange solutions, acquisition, asset management, property management, accounting and reporting, disposition, and strategic advisory services in discretionary funds and separately managed accounts. While with Capview Partners Mr. Hammill has been involved with over $1B of transactions (including the formation of a publicly traded Net Lease REIT) that have provided investors with attractive risk-adjusted yields and returns.
Mr. Hammill started his career in 1994 and before starting Capview he was involved in over 600 real estate investment transactions totaling over $3.25 billion in value. Mr. Hammill was also involved in several private equity, structured debt, and structured equity offerings. He also founded a multi-family REIT before forming Capview Partners.
Mr. Hammill completed his Masters of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science degrees at The University of Miami and Southern Methodist University, respectively. Mr. Hammill is the fifth consecutive generation in his family to make a career in real estate investing and was raised in Miami, Connecticut, and South Africa. Mr. Hammill enjoys sailing, squash, tennis, golf, skiing, and hiking.
Luis Degwitz C.
Fund Manager
Mr. Degwitz has over 19 years of experience in banking and with financial institutions. He started his career in investment banking in 2005, successfully structuring and selling products of top tier companies in Latin America. Mr. Degwitz holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Universidad Metropolitana and a MSc. in Finance from IESA in Caracas, Venezuela.
He joined Wellmeaning Properties in 2013 to set up private equity and real estate backed funds and investment products based in Miami, Florida. Luis was also active in project finance and debt restructuring when he co-founded a Panamanian financial boutique firm, SSU Consultores S.A. He successfully completed deals in Latin America, particularly in energy infrastructure. In 2013, he joined International Union Bank (IUBank) as a Director.
Mr. Degwitz enjoys traveling, grilling, playing golf and skiing.
Eileen Sakolsky
Sales Lead
Ms. Sakolsky joined Capview Partners in 2024. Prior to joining Capview Partners, she was a sales associate at Marcus and Millichap in Fort Lauderdale Florida from 2022 to 2024. At Marcus and Millichap, Ms. Sakolsky brokered the sale of Multi Family assets in Miami Beach ranging from $1-12 million. She specialized in the short-term rental market as well as redevelopment in the city of Miami Beach. Ms. Sakolsky graduated from Lynn University with her bachelor’s degree in political science in 2021.
Ms. Sakolsky enjoys traveling, cooking, writing, and spending time with family and friends.
Ari Wertheimer
Head of Finance and Operations
Mr. Wertheimer is the head of finance and operations at Capview Holdings.
Prior to Capview, Mr. Wertheimer operated as the controller for Sciens Water, a private equity firm investing in water infrastructure assets within the United States. Before Sciens, Mr. Wertheimer spent almost 5 years at Chalkstream Capital, where he provided operational, accounting, investor relations and compliance functions for the diverse investment firm, across its traditional hedge fund, private equity, fund-of-fund and other niche investment strategies. Mr. Wertheimer started his career at KPMG in the asset management tax practice, along with a stopover in the KPMG mergers & acquisitions tax group.
Mr. Wertheimer received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland, with a double major in accounting and finance. He is also a Certified Public Accountant registered in the state of New York.
Mr. Wertheimer enjoys basketball, tennis, traveling, and spending time outdoors in the Florida sun.
